Bodyboarding Vic Memberships
2024 Bodyboarding Victoria Membership is a subscription (pay-to-play) structure to equally give access to competition and/or social events to best suit each member
2024 Membership starts from $50 and includes:
- Bodyboarding Victoria T-shirt and member-only discounts from our sponsors
- Access to BV Social and Presentation events
- ​Spectators passes to BV Victoria State Title events, Championship events, and URBNSURF events.
Competitor details
For competitors, 2024 BV Victoria State Titles are 2x rounds and will cost an additional $50 per competitor, per round for Adults or $20 per competitor, per round for Groms/Cadets/Juniors, to be paid at the time of event entry registration (registration will be open several weeks before each event).
Championship club events will have a minimal cost to cover event administration costs e.g. $10 - $20 per competitor per event, to be paid at the time of event entry.
Surfing Victoria Membership Requirements
In addition to a BV membership, a Surfing Victoria Core membership is a minimum requirement to compete in BV Victoria State Title events - $55 per year.
In addition to a BV membership, a Surfing Victoria Social membership is a minimum requirement to participate in BV Championship activities - $33 per year.
Bodyboarding Victoria recommends all members to have Surfing Victoria Social membership for their own benefit e.g personal accident insurance when bodyboarding and 5% discount at URBNSURF Melbourne, amongst other great benefits. See Surfing Victoria website for more details
Social event details
Social and support members are openly invited to share the stoke with other bodyboarders and family and entitled to all benefits of the association. Social and support members would need to meet the minimum competitor requirements to participate and bodyboard in the events and activities.
Parents are to take responsibility for their children on the beach or event location during all events.
